Eva Lambert

Eva Halleen Faggart Lambert, 85, of 8400 Reed Mine Road Midland passed away on Friday, June 5, 2010. She was born August 3, 1924 in Cabarrrus County, to the late Kenneth "Ken" and Edith Martha Bost Faggart . Also preceded in death by her husband Alfred Ray Lambert on July 16, 2005, who she married April 9, 1949. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 4:00 pm at Coldwater Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Posey officiating. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Internment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Lambert was a graduate of Bethel High School. She had worked at Kerr Bleachery and Cabarrus County Schools. Halleen was an active member of Coldwater Baptist Church. Her greatest ministry was visiting, writing letters, and sending bulletins every week to homebound church members. She did this joyfully for over twenty years. She was preceded in death by sisters, Louise Bost Faggart and Annie Lee Faggart Motley; brothers, Kenneth Maurice Faggart and Frank Melvin Faggart. She is survived by sons, Kenneth Ray "Kenny" Lambert and wife, Tammy, William Keith Lambert and wife, Leann, all of Concord; grandsons, Van and Grant; brother, W.G. "Dub" Faggart, of Concord; sisters, Sarah Elizabeth Faggart and Rachel Amanda Faggart, both of Concord, Amnaris Faggart Miller and husband, Jim, of Kannapolis. Memorials may be made to Coldwater Baptist Church, 1053 Union Street South, Concord, NC 28025.
