Evelyn Eudy

Evelyn Foster Eudy, 78, of Rockwell, NC, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Eudy was born March 10, 1933 in Cabarrus County. She was preceded in death by her father, Grover Lee Foster, and mother, Pearl Hill Foster. Mrs. Eudy was an inspector for Fieldcrest Cannon for 26 years. The family will receive friends from 7 – 9 p.m. Saturday, August 27 at New Grace Baptist Church in Concord. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at New Grace officiated by Pastor Allen Montgomery, assisted by Pastor Michael Austin. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. At other times, the family will meet at her home. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Bobby Ray Eudy, of the home; sons, Bobby Eudy and wife, Chris, of Concord, and John Boy Eudy and wife, Cheryl, of Kannapolis; daughter, Cynthia Thomasee and husband, Joey, of Kannapolis; sister, Ruby Furr; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to New Grace Church Building Fund, PO Box 567, Concord, NC 28026. The family would like to especially thank Hospice of Rowan County and a special granddaughter, Amber Wagner, who was her caregiver. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Eudy family.
