Evelyn Reece

Evelyn Faye Reece, 72 of Concord, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at CMC-NorthEast in Concord. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Thursday, October 11, 2012 from 6 until 8 pm. The funeral service will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home Concord Chapel on Friday, October 12th at 11 am, with Pastor Dave Milam officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Cemetery in China Grove. Evelyn was born on January 19, 1940 in Rowan County, to the late Coy Price and Odell Auten Thompson. She was also preceded in death by her sisters Reba Mae Thompson and Shirley Ann Donahue. She is survived by: daughter, Lisa Mountain and husband Jerry of Concord; grandchildren, Nick and Sabrina Mountain of Concord; sister, Rachel Graves of Kannapolis; brothers, Loyed Thompson and wife Myrtle of Concord, Coy Thompson and wife Jean of Kannapolis, Wayne Thompson and wife Marion of Concord, and James Thompson and wife Paulette of Mt. Pleasant. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Reece family.
