Fabio A. Foster

Fabio A. Foster, 75, of Concord, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023.

Fabio was born August 9, 1948 in Barahona, Dominican Republic, to the late Fabio A. Foster and Minerva Peña. 

Fabio enjoyed life.  He was a hard worker, but simple man.  He'd relax watching TV and YouTube.  Fabio loved New York and was a Mets fan.  He also enjoyed fishing and crabbing and playing Dominoes, cards, and pool.  He loved his Bustelo coffee and talking politics.  Most of all, Fabio dearly loved his family.   

Survivors include beloved wife of 52 years, Nelly Foster of Concord; son, Fabio A. Feliz of Manhattan, NY; son, Kurt (Alina) Foster of Concord; son, Helmut (Jeanet) Foster of Indian Trail; mother, Minerva Peña of Long Island, NY; six grandchildren, Naomi, Noely, and Ashley Feliz, Salma Garcia, and Aneska and Anthony Foster; brothers, Rafael (Juana) Tejeda, Milot Matos, and Henry (Altagracia) Pena, all of Long Island, NY; numerous nieces and nephews.  

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:45 am, Friday, November 24, 2023 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord.  The funeral service in celebration of Fabio's life will follow at 12:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.  The service will be webcast:  https://video.ibm.com/channel/hartsell-funeral-home-concord  Fabio will be laid to rest at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis.
