Fannie Faulkner

Fannie Ellen Faulkner, age 91, of Albemarle, NC, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at her home. She was born on October 22, 1919 in Stanly County to the late James Walter and Florence Joretta Cauble Hudson. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and a retired winder from the textiles industry. Upon retirement, she enjoyed gardening and spending quality time with her beloved family, friends, and her little dog, Gigi. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at Bethesda Community Cemetery on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 2:00 PM. Rev. Lee Church and Rev. Joe Smith will officiate. The family will be meeting family and friends at the home of her daughter, Joretta Lorch. She is survived by her daughters, Joretta Lorch and husband James, of Albemarle and Pamela Kirby and husband Darrell, of Greensboro; great grandchildren, Payton Lorch, Cierra Waisner, and Grasyn Waisner; and grandchildren, Michael Lorch and wife, Laura, and Cindy Waisner and husband, Charlie. The family sincerely wishes to thank Hospice of Stanly County, Karen Herlocker, Nancy Burleson, Dr. Rufus Lefler, and her special caregiver, Betty Bargesser for their constant and compassionate care.
