Fay Hinson

Fay Catherine Hathcock Hinson, 88 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Anson Health & Rehabilitation in Wadesboro.

Fay was born June 12, 1927 in Stanly County to the late N. D. and Hettie Hathcock. She was also preceded in death by husband, Alonzo Melton Hinson; son, Dexter Hinson; son, Larry Hinson; and daughter-in-law, Alfreda Hinson.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle, officiated by Rev. Chip Alsobrooks.

Fay and her husband, Alonzo, were owners/operators of Community Cleaners of Locust for 45 years.

Survivors include son, Felix Hinson and wife Carolyn, of Oakboro; six grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
