Faye Rednour Allman, 92, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Wellington House Nursing Home, in Gastonia, NC.
Faye was born on July 6, 1932 in Gaston County to the late John Edgar and Nannie Naomi Brown Rednour. She was also preceded in death by her son, David Gragg; brothers, Larry Rednour, Jack Rednour, John E. Rednour, Hermon Rednour; and sisters, Mary Alice Gibson, and Anne McCracken.
Faye designed fabric at Cannon Mills for 11 years, then worked for the US Postal Service. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant.
There will be a graveside service honoring Faye's life on Monday August 12, 2024 at 10:00 am at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens, located at 3892 NC 73, Concord, NC.
She is survived by her daughters, Sue Allman, and her husband Kyle of Mt. Pleasant, Mollie Breakfield and her husband Thomas of Kings Mountain; son, Jonathan Jenkins; granddaughters, Allison Denney of Albemarle, Amanda Lynn Steele of York, SC; grandsons, Heath Allman of Mt. Pleasant, Alan Breakfield of Calabash, and Neal Gragg of Cramerton; two great grandchildren, Carly and Gracie Breakfield of Calabash.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Faye's name to Wellington House, or any association that helps with Dementia.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Allman family.
