Faye Clay

CONCORD - Faye Louise Honeycutt Clay, age 71, of 9068 Flowes Store Road, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at CMC-Northeast in Concord, N.C. Mrs. Clay was employed by Cannon Mills and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Concord. She was born Feb. 16, 1939 in Cabarrus County, the daughter of the late Hubert Honeycutt and the late Maeller Rinehardt Honeycutt. She is survived by her husband, Eugene Junior Clay of the home, and her sister, Darlene Efird of Concord. Arrangements are being handled by Hartsell Funeral Home - Concord, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, July 2, 2009. Funeral service will be at Pine Grove Baptist Church - Concord at 2:00 PM Friday, July 3, 2009 , Rev. Ray Rippy officiating. Interment will be at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens in Concord, N.C.
