Faye Eudy

Faye Gladys Hahn Eudy, age 90, of Oakboro, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2012, at Stanly Regional Medical Center. . The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle on Friday, January 20 from 2:30 PM until 4:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel at 4:00 PM, officiated by Rev. Joe Smith. Burial will follow at Barbee’s Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Eudy was born in Stanly County on October 12, 1921, to the late Davis Cage Hahn and the late Mary Hartsell Hahn. Her husband, George Allen Eudy, preceded her in death in January 17, 1990. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanette Eudy, who died at 5 years of age and a son, Ronnie Allen Eudy. She is survived by one son, Johnny Floyd Eudy and his wife Jennette of Oakboro; one daughter, Louise E. Austin and her husband Dykie of Oakboro; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County, 960 N. 1st Street, Albemarle, NC 28001. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Eudy family.
