Faye Janke

Faye Taylor (Knight) Janke, 81, of Concord, passed away on November 19, 2021, at Five Oaks Manor in Concord, NC peacefully surrounded by family.  She was born on February 7, 1940 to Frank and Ruth (Neal) Taylor at Charlotte, NC.

Faye is survived by her three loving children, daughter, Pam Green (Chris) of Concord, NC; two sons, Richard (Rick) Knight of Hickory, NC and Larry (Wayne) Knight of Kannapolis, NC; siblings; sister, Patsy Johnson of Benton, IL, three brothers, Neal Taylor of Denver, NC, Ronnie Taylor of Charlotte, NC and Barry Taylor of Lincolnton, NC; grandchildren; Christina Hyatt and Krystal Green of Concord, NC, Ariel (AJ) Knight of Huntersville, NC, Conner Knight and Nicholas (Nick) Knight of Kannapolis, NC, Deana Hyatt-Keyton of Myrtle Beach, SC; great grand-daughter Mila Kelly of Concord, NC.

She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Janke; mother, Ruth Taylor, father, Frank Taylor; sister, Nancy Brotherton; brothers Arnold Taylor and Kenneth Taylor.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 26, 2021, 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord, NC.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 26, 2021, 2:00 pm at the Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord, NC, with Pastor Chris Baker, officiating.

The burial will be at the Carolina Memorial Park, Harrisburg, NC.
