Faye Nance

Faye Frances Henderson Nance, 81 years of age, of Stanfield, passed away Friday, August 16, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord. Mrs. Nance was born December 9, 1931 in Cumberland County to the late Grady McKinley Henderson and the late Alene Faye Owen Henderson . The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Monday, August 19, 2013 at Love's Grove United Methodist . The funeral service will be on Monday at 4:00 pm at Love's Grove United Methodist Church in Stanfield. Rev. Jim White, Rev. Coy Blackman, and Rev. Bruce League will officiate. Burial will follow at a later date at Love's Grove United Methodist Cemetery. At other times the family will be meeting at her home. Survivors include her loving husband of 60 years, Jacob "Jake" Nance of Stanfield; one son, John (Susan) Nance of Stanfield; one daughter, Bonnie Nance of Stanfield; three grandchildren, David Nance (Tammy), Jacob Nance, and Rachel Flores (Chris); four great grandchildren; and sister, Linda Dirksen of AZ. Memorials may be made to Love's Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 4713 Polk Ford Road, Stanfield, NC 28163. Hartsell Funeral Home is serving the Nance family.
