Flonnie Smith

Flonnie Plummer Smith, 74, of Mount Pleasant, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017 at the home of her daughter, Bonnie Smith.

Flonnie was born April 22, 1943 in Charlotte to the late William Robert Plummer and the late Josephine Simmons Plummer.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm in Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Preacher Clinton Efird. The burial will be at Dulin's Grove Advent Christian Church Cemetery, 11200 Arlington Church Rd., Charlotte. At other times, the family will be gathering at the home of her son, Doug Smith, 6425 Crayton Rd., Mt. Pleasant.

She is survived by her sons, Charles William Smith and wife Rebecca, Douglas Thomas Smith, Jeffery Lane Smith and wife Wanda, all of Mt. Pleasant; daughter, Bonnie Jo Smith of Mount Pleasant; twin brother, Lonnie Plummer and wife Madeleine of Wingate; sisters, Mabel Huneycutt and husband Hoyle of Brief, Margaret Treece and husband Luther of Albemarle; granddaughters, Angela Furr of Mount Pleasant, Stacy Smith of Concord; great-grandchildren, Jillian, Nicholas, Paris, and C. J.; special friend, Becky Turner; and beloved cat, Star.

Flonnie enjoyed reading and listening to country music. She also loved to listen to Rev. Jimmy Swaggart preach. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Lisa and Brook with Hospice.
