Florence Nance

Florence Elenore Miniat Nance, 85 years of age, of New London, passed away Monday, January 27, 2014 in Charlotte, NC. Florence was born July 19, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Anton A. Miniat and the late Helen K. Podgorski Miniat. She was also preceded in death by her husband in 1990, William Albert Nance and son, Kenneth W. Nance in 2012. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle, NC, and from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, January 31, 2014 at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home in Wheaton, Illinois. Burial will follow at the Wheaton Cemetery, 1209 South Warrenville Road, Wheaton, Illinois 60187. Survivors include son, Thomas A. Nance of New London and Cape Cod, and George A. Nance and wife, Nancy, of Glendale Heights, IL; sister, Christine Ksiazek of Allegan, MI; daughter in law, Carol Nance of Villa Park, IL; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Nance family.
