Floyd Junior Burnette age 63 of 7714 Benton Edward Rd, Marshville, NC passed away Friday, January 1, 2010 at Five Oaks Manor. He was born January 3, 1946 in Union County, NC to the late Fleckus Alexander Burnette and Hattie Minerus Simpson Burnette. He was also preceded in death by 3 brothers Grady, Charlie F. and Clarence Burnette. He had worked for General Latex in Charlotte in the maintenance department. He is survived by his wife Mary Greene Burnette of Concord, NC; four brothers, Ikey Burnette of Locust, NC; Ted Burnette of Midland, NC; John Burnette of Red Cross, NC; Wade Burnette of Monroe, NC; five sisters, Faye Morgan of Locust, NC; Lula Nance of Stanfield, NC; Mary Chaney of Marshville, NC; Ann Simpson of Concord, NC; Judy Eudy of Concord, NC. Visitation will be Sunday, January 3, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Berea Baptist Church. Funeral service will be Sunday, January 3, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at Berea Baptist Church with burial to follow at the church cemetery. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is assisting the family.
