Floyd Tarlton

Floyd Pernay Tarlton, 82 of Monroe, NC, was called home to be with The Lord April 14, 2010 at CMC-Union in Monroe. Born in Richmond County on June 9, 1927, he was preceded in death by his mother Beadie Esther Greene Tarlton, father Winfred David Tarlton, 4 brothers; Royd, Frank, Vestal, and Foster Tarlton; 3 sisters; Jesse Helms, Kate West, and Ruby Medlin. A visitation will be held Friday, April 16, 2010 from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Antioch Baptist Church, with the ministers Rev. Mike Riley, Rev. George Gouge officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Baptist Cemetery. Floyd Tarlton is survived by his wife of 41 years Judith Price Tarlton of Monroe NC; his sisters; Cora Love of Monroe NC, Bobbie Rushing of Monroe NC, Shirley Caskey of Monroe NC; his brothers Herman Tarlton of Monroe, and Howard Tarlton of Monroe.
