Forrest Willis Furr

Forrest Willis Furr, 82, of Stanfield, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Hospice of Union County in Monroe.

Willis was born November 6, 1940 in North Carolina to the late Claude Furr and the late Alice McKinley Furr.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 2:45 pm, Friday, January 6, 2023 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will follow on Friday at 3:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Jack Hartsell Memorial Chapel in Midland.

Survivors include wife, Odessa Deberry Furr of Stanfield, NC; children, Greg (Sulma) Furr, Randy (Lori) Furr, and Crystal Conner; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Claudia Mesimer, Richard Furr, Barbara Osborne, David Furr, Gertie Swaringen, Henry Furr, Hubert Furr, Geral Furr, and Ricky Furr.
