Frances Agee

Frances Evelyn Agee, 89 years of age, of Concord, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016.
Mrs. Agee was born October 23, 1926 in Gibson County, TN to the late J.N. Finley and the late Ina Walls Finley.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Melvin Agee in 2003; brother Foley Finley; sister Jewel Chipman; and brother Otis Finley; as well as son-in-law Peter F. Wentz and son-in-law Kenneth Dick.
Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Wentz and Sandy Dick; grandchildren Michael and Ashley; as well as great grandchildren Jennifer and Michael.
The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 3:00pm on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 3:00pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord, officiated by Rev. Randy Wall. Burial will take place at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County.
