Frances Brines

Frances Garrett Brines passed away Monday morning at Cardinal Healthcare in Lincolnton.

She was born Frances Josephine Garrett on November 14, 1935, in Danville, Virginia. She was the eighth of nine children born to Horace Girdwood Garrett and Bonnie Sentell Garrett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Johnnie Burl Brines.

She is survived by her daughter Johnna Sigmon and husband Don of Lincolnton, NC, and her son Mitchell Brines and wife Edee of Kannapolis, NC; as well as two grandsons.
