Frances Carter

Frances Mae Carter, 87 years of age, of Concord, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Universal Healthcare in Concord.
Frances was born September 24, 1928 in Rowan County to the late Jacob Owen Hodge and the late Fanny Mae Hodge. She was also preceded in death by four siblings, Mozell Overcash, Howard Hodge, Janie Wihlems, and Pauline Hodge.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm, Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Friendship Southern Baptist Church in Concord. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm in the church sanctuary, and will be officiated by Rev. Bill Saylor. Burial will be Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis.
Survivors include husband of 64 years, Wade Carter Sr. of Concord; son, Wade (Sharon) Carter, Jr. of Concord; son, Randy (Kathy) Carter of Concord; daughter, Deborah (Mark) Cagle of Asheboro; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
