Frances Mullis

Frances Brattain Mullis, 86 years of age, of Locust, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. She was born June 7, 1927 in North Carolina to the late Lee Sylvester Brattain and the late Lectie Anne Brattain . She was also preceded in death by husband, James Marvin Mullis. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, December 6, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The funeral service will be on Saturday at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland, officiated by Rev. Gerald Baucom. Burial will follow at the Providence Church of God Cemetery at 12474 NC Hwy 24-27, Locust. Survivors include son, David Lee Mullis of Locust, NC; grandson, Marcus Mullis of New London, NC; grandson, David Eugene Mullis of Monroe, NC; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Zezel B. Page of Locust, NC. Hartsell Funeral Home is serving the Mullis family.
