Frances Watts

Frances Sasser Watts, 82 years of age, of Midland NC, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Levine-Dickson Hospice House in Charlotte. Frances was born March 25, 1931 in Union County to the late Cullen Joseph Sasser and the late Bertie Long Sasser. The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Friday, July 26, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The funeral service will be Saturday at 2:00 pm at Christ Baptist Church in Indian Trail officiated by Rev. Stephen Hicks, Dr. Lynn Sasser, and Dr. Terrell Watts. Burial will follow at the Sunset Memory Gardens at 8901 Lawyers Rd., Charlotte. Survivors include her husband, Ottis David Watts, Jr. of the home; two sons, Joel Adrain Watts of Charlotte, NC, Dr. David Terrell Watts and wife Janice of Midland, NC; two grandsons, Matthew David Watts of Charlotte, David Wesley Watts of Midland; two granddaughters, Sarah and husband Matthew Hartsell of Oakboro, NC, and Melodie and husband Scott Marcus of Stanfield, NC.
