Francesca Falco

Francesca Falco, 82, of Concord, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013 at Avante of Concord. She was born June 26, 1930, in Capriati al Volturno, Italy, to the late Alfredo Forte and Lucia Icavone Forte. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Pasquale Forte. Mrs. Falco is survived by her husband Marco Falco with whom she celebrated her loving marriage of 61 years with on January 7th; daughters, Giovanna Frestone and husband Curtis of Kannapolis and Lucia Falco of Concord; brothers, Eqidio and Lorenzo Forte of Italy; Sisters, Giusepina Forte of England and Anna Forte of Italy; Five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. She moved from Italy to Providence, RI, in 1966. She loved her grandchildren and cooking for her family. She also enjoyed singing and dancing. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, 139 Manor Ave., Concord, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 am with Rev. Joseph Dionne officiant. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, NC. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Falco family.
