Frank Levinsky

Frank "Bing" Levinsky, of Midland NC, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 under Hospice care in Monroe. Bing was 88 years young!

He will always be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father and friend to many.

Born on October 2, 1932 in Youngstown, Ohio to Nick and Rose Levinsky, immigrants from Austria.  Bing was the youngest of 12.

He proudly served in the Korean War with the US Marine Corps before beginning his life long occupation in construction.  He enjoyed bowling and was active in leagues for over 50 years.

Bing was married to Diane Lambert Levinsky in May of 1962.  He was a loving husband and companion for almost 60 years.  He was a great provider and inspiration to his wife and 5 kids.

To Bing, family was everything. Those that had the privilege to meet him know he never met a stranger and always made all feel welcome. Agreat story teller, he shared his life experiences with all!

Bing is survived by his beloved wife, Diane Levinsky of Midland NC; his sons, Ed Levinsky of Fort Lawn SC, Jim and wife Glenda Levinsky of Monroe NC; his daughters, Laurie Levinsky of Midland NC, Lisa and husband Greg Lang of Rockhill SC, Sue and husband Bob Cummings of Waynesville NC; grandkids Chris and wife Allison Levinsky, Abby Auman, Emily and husband Josh Stratton, Ashley Martin, Matt Lang; and great-granddaughter Nadia Levinsky.

Unconditional Love, Family, Christmas and Coffee. These were things of most importance to him.

He will be missed by many, but his legacy and impact on others will live on forever.

A Celebration of Life will be held outdoors at his home on Saturday February 6th, 2021 at 1pm. Refreshments to follow in the pavilion.
