Frankie Martin Faircloth, 67 years of age, of Stanfield, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle.
Frankie was born October 25, 1948 in Stanly County to the late Donald Rudoph Faircloth and Frances Lorraine Rabren.
There are no services planned at this time.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Karon Sue Faircloth of Stanfield; daughter, Rhonda (Paul) Ellington of Stuarts Draft, VA; two grandchildren, Danielle and Paul; and brother Don (Rosa) Faircloth of Oakboro.
Frankie was a three-time recipient of the Purple Heart in Vietnam; he was a TET Offensive survivor. Frankie was one of the thousands of eventual casualties from Agent Orange exposure during the Vietnam War.
