Frankie Hartsell

Frankie Jay Lee Hartsell, 69, of Concord passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center, Northeast. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 2, 2012 from 6-8 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord. The rest of the time, the family will meet at 8809 Cornwall St., Locust. The funeral service will be Sunday, March 3, 2013 at 2pm in the Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Brian Rabon. Mr. Hartsell was born on September 26, 1943, to the late Michael Alexander and Bonnie Hartsell. He and his wife were the owners of Frankie Hartsell Distributors. He loved spending time with his family and watching his grandchildren play all types of sports. In addition to his parents, Frankie was preceded in death by his brothers, Boyce and Gary Hartsell. Mr. Hartsell is survived by his; wife of 51 years, Susan Hartsell of the home; son, Frankie Jay Lee Hartsell, Jr. and his wife Angie of Locust; daughters, Wendy Ruben and husband Tim of Kannapolis, Katrina Oliphant, Kim Hartsell and LeAnne Donnally of Concord; grandchildren, Brittany, Shannon, Justin, Ashlee, Colby, Grant, Stephanie, Anna, Austin, Jaclyn and Victoria; great grandchildren, Peyton and Kayden; brothers, Earnie, Ken and Lance Hartsell; sisters, Colleen McEachern, Juanita Huneycutt, Betty Dennis and Cornelia Alexander. He is also survived by a long list of other family members he truly loved.
