Franklin Ford

Franklin Eugene Ford, "Tink" 72, of Concord, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

Mr. Ford was born February 8, 1949 in Concord, North Carolina to the late Oscar Julian Ford and the late Mary Katherine Ford.He was also preceded in death by a brother Ricky Ford.

Mr. Ford enjoyed hunting and fishing. He especially liked to Carp fish with his grandson and play on the beach with his great- grandson.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The graveside service will be on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at 1:00 pm in Carolina Memorial Park Kannapolis and will be officiated by Pastor Kevin Ford.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years Karen Morgan Ford of Concord, NC; daughter, Angie Stegall (Trent), of Mount Pleasant, NC; grandson Cody Stegall (Megan) of Albemarle, NC; granddaughter Madison Stegall of Rockwell, NC; and great grandson Carter.  Brothers Lee Ford of Concord, NC, and Kenneth Ford (Connie) of Concord, NC
