Franklin Randolph

Franklin E. Randolph, 73, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022.

Born on August 22, 1948, in Ottumwa, Iowa, Frank was one of 9 children born in Ottumwa, Iowa, to the late Lester and Sylvia Randolph.

Frank completed seminary school in Texas.  He was a very hardworking man and had a strong work ethic.  He was very passionate about his family and crafts.  Frank dearly loved his wife, children, and grandchildren.  His love for the Iowa Hawkeyes was undeniable.  He also enjoyed fishing and woodworking.  Frank was a member of Parkwood Baptist Church.

Survivors include beloved wife of 38 years, Jana Buckner Randolph; daughter, Shelby (Scott) Reel of Des Moines, IA; son, Christopher (Abby) Russi of Rochester, MN; son, Jason (Angie) Randolph of West Des Moines, IA; daughter, Jennifer (Randy) Light of Concord, NC; sisters, Dee and Ruth Ann; and 10 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 10:45 am, Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Parkwood Baptist Church in Concord.  The memorial service in celebration of Frank's life will follow at 11:00 am, officiated by Rev. Michael Waters.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Parkwood Baptist Church, 1069 Central Drive NW, Concord NC 28027.
