Fred Curry, Jr.

Fred E. "Buddy" Curry, Jr., 87, of Midland, NC went to the Lord, Sunday, July 22, 2018.

Born in Greenville, SC, February 8, 1931 to the late Fred E. Curry, Sr. and the late Mildred Doggette Curry.  He was also preceded in death by infant son, Fred E. Curry, III.

Buddy retired from Wade Hampton Fire Department, Taylor, SC, and moved to Midland, NC, to be close to his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include beloved wife of 65 years, Margaret Freeman Curry; loving daughter, Deborah Curry Toth of Charlotte, NC; devoted son, Blake Curry and wife, Gina, of Midland, NC; and his two wonderful grandchildren, Keely and Christopher Curry of Midland, NC.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 2:45 pm, Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Bethel United Methodist Church, Midland, NC. The memorial service will follow at 3:00 pm, officiated by Rev. Mark Clontz.  Buddy will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.
