Hartsell Funeral Home Concord PO Box 367 Concord, NC 28026 (704) 786 1161 Fred Junior Kluttz, 83, of 680 Union Cemetery Road, Concord passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Avante of Concord. He was born on October 10, 1927 in Cabarrus County to the late Walter Monroe and Jessie Mae Cullins Kluttz. Mr. Kluttz is also preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Burris Kluttz, who passed away in August of 2007. Fred was a member of Cold Springs United Methodist Church and a member of the V.F.W. He was a veteran of the Army Air Force and machinist for Cannon Mills in Kannapolis for over 50 years. Mr. Kluttz served as a school crossing guard for the city of Concord. A funeral service will be held at Cold Springs United Methodist Church on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 11:30 AM, following a 30 minute state, with Dr. Neil Haynes and Rev. Mary Hatley officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. He is survived by, Mr. and Mrs. Michael F. Kluttz, of Concord; daughter, Truddy Bebber, of Mt. Pleasant; grandsons, Michael K. Kluttz and wife, Mantra, of Concord and Christopher L. Kluttz, of Concord; and great grandsons, Justin M. Kluttz and Jessie G. Kluttz, both of Concord. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Cold Springs United Methodist Church, 2550 Cold Springs Road, East, Concord, NC 28025.
