Fred Lee Sheffield, 82 years of age, of Mount Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Pruitt Health in Harrisburg.
Fred was born October 16, 1934 in North Carolina to the late James Raleigh Sheffield and the late Autie Bell Barbee. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Hazel Whitley.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30, Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Friendship Southern Baptist Church, 180 West Ave SW, Concord. The funeral service will begin at 2:30 in the church sanctuary, officiated by Rev. Jessie Watkins. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis.
He was the owner/operator of Sheffield Plumbing.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Ina Sheffield of Mount Pleasant; his son, Fred Sheffield, Jr. and wife, Victoria; his sisters, Doris Stairs and Edna Sheffield.
