Freddie Honeycutt, Sr

Freddie Wayne Honeycutt, Sr. 44 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, December 12, 2016 at his home.

Mr. Honeycutt was born December 8, 1972 in Stanly County to the late Freddie Alvin Honeycutt and Margaret Frances Harvey Mason. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents .

The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Thursday, December 15, 2016, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle . The funeral service will be on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle officiated by Rev. Kelly Wilson and First Lady Amanda Wilson . Burial will follow at 2:00 pm at the West Lawn Memorial Park 1350 S. Main Street, China Grove.

Freddie was a fire fighter and was a truck driver for over 25 years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and fishing.

Survivors include mother, Margaret Frances Harvey Mason of Albemarle; wife, Dawn Lanette Sechrest Honeycutt of Denton; son, Freddie Wayne Honeycutt, Jr. of Albemarle; daughters, Kristen Honeycutt Kiker of Lilesville, Misty Williams of Denton, Miranda Williams of Denton; brothers, Robert "Bobby" Harvey of Salisbury, James Edward Pierce, II of Hickory; sisters, Stephanie Harvey of Lexington, Sandra Thompson of Mt. Gilead, Patricia Scheller of New London and his beloved dog, Gizmo Honeycutt of Denton.
