Frederick Bauer

Frederick George Bauer, 71, of Harrisburg, formerly of Baldwin, NY, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 2, 2013. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 5 until 7 pm. The funeral service will be held at Providence Baptist Church, 5315 Hwy 49 South, Harrisburg on Thursday, March 7th at 11 am, following a 30 minute visitation. Dr. John Caswell and Rev. William Saylor will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Harrisburg. Mr. Bauer was born on July 17, 1941 in New York, to the late George Adolf Bauer and the late Dorothy Margaret Eberling Bauer. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a nephew. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Diane Lynn Dillon Bauer of the home; sister, Elizabeth Ruth Egre of Oldsmar, FL; brothers, Theodore Henry Bauer and wife Sandra of Downers Grove, IL, Christopher Drew Romaine of Silver Spring, MD; and ten nieces and nephews.
