Gary Mack Burnette, 69 years of age, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Salisbury V A Hospital, Salisbury, NC.
Gary was born July 7, 1946 in Concord to the late Walter Mack Burnette and the late Edna Mae McGuirt.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Joseph Harding. Burial with full military honors will be on Friday, October 23, 2015 at Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC.
Gary was a US Army Veteran who proudly served his country and was awarded a Purple Heart.
Survivors include son, Channing Burnette of Concord, NC.
