Gary Conklin

Gary Lee Conklin, 60 years of age, of Stanfield, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016.
Gary was born July 31, 1955 in Salamanca, NY to the late Harland Edward Conklin and the late Elizabeth Gertrude Thalheimer Conklin. He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Raymond Marsh.
Mr. Conklin was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a former employee of J. O. Flowe in Midland.
A celebration of his life will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Love's Grove United Methodist Church, 4360 Polk Ford Rd., Stanfield. Rev. Jim White will officiate.
Survivors include his brothers, Kenny of Midland, NC; brother Ron of Pittsburgh, PA; and Michael of Moriarty, New Mexico; his sister, Carolyn Barrier Marsh of Concord, formerly of Midland, NC; as well as his cat Guy and many friends, nieces and nephews.
