Gary Dark

Gary Walter Dark, 52, of Charlotte, NC, passed away suddenly February 22, 2011, in South Carolina. Mr. Dark was born June 4, 1958 in Mecklenburg County. He was preceded in death by his father Walter Henry Dark; mother, Edith Mae Cathey Dark, and brother, Roger Dark. The visitation will be 12 – 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 26, at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, Midland. The family will have a private burial in the future at Sunset Memory Gardens, Charlotte, NC. Survivors are his aunts, Mary Anderson, Louise Dover, Mildred “Sally” Rayner, and Virginia Carter, all of Georgia, two uncles and numerous cousins.
