Gary Dutton

Gary Bruce Dutton (September 21, 1951 - August 26,2009 Gary Bruce Dutton of 5055 Seminary Road, Alexandria, VA died August 26, 2009 at Inova Alexandria Hospital in Charlottesville, VA. The son of the late Hary Holden Dutton, Sr. and Kathleen Kluttz Pickler Dutton of New London, NC, he worked in the Office of the Inspector General and had 34 years service with the United States Dapartment of Defense. Since 1988, Gary was an auditor of Acquistions and Contract Management. He graduated in 1974 from Pfeiffer College with a BA in business. Gary leaves life long friend Calvin J. McMullen of Alexandria, VA work associates, friends and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins in North Carolina. He is also survived by his brother, Harry Holden Dutton, Jr. and wife Kathy of Durham, NC; nephews, Matthew Dutton and wife Arrin of Raleigh, Brian Dutton and wife Moira of Cary, NC; great nephews, Chase Holden Dutton and Davis William Dutton of Raleigh, NC. Celebration of Life services will be held at Kendall's Baptist Church, Sunday, August 30th at 2:00 PM. with burial in the church cemetery immediately following the service. Visitation will be following burial at the home of Kathleen Dutton, 32312 Austin Road, New London, NC.
