Gary Smith

Gary Wayne Smith, 48, of Concord, passed away on April 27, 2012. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Gary was born on November 13, 1963, to the late Jack and Erlene Smith. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Robin Tinsley. He is survived by an aunt and uncle; a nephew; two nieces; several cousins; and his ex-wife, Lisa Bowers Hopper. A special thanks is extended to his special friends, Lisa and Jason Hopper, Eric (Booney) Helms, Kim Shue, Gene King, Jimmy Perish, Benny Hunt, Don Little, John Allyn, Julie Strube, Elmo, Alan Lanning, Wayne and Becky, June and Roy, and Jimmy Price. Gary had a special love of nature, especially bonsai trees and animals of all kinds. He loved music, especially Zakk Wilde and Randy Rhodes and the Marshal Tucker Band.
