Gary Troutman

Gary Dean Troutman, 52 years of age, of Concord, died unexpectedly Monday, October 13, 2014 at his home in Concord.

He was born May 9, 1962 in North Carolina to Raiford Troutman and Margene Weatherman Troutman. He was preceded in death by his step-daughter, Shannon Leigh Ewing.

Gary, an avid Tarheel fan, enjoyed all types of music, especially beach music. He owned a car audio business in the 80's and enjoyed playing the guitar. He later became a general contractor at Troutman Enterprises. He also enjoyed antiquing and visiting antique shops.

The funeral service will be Saturday at 3:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord, NC officiated by Rev. Jim Grigg. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.

Survivors include his parents; sister, Blenda (Norman) Snodderly of Concord, NC; sister, Karen (Joey) Barbee of Concord, NC; brother, Wayne (Nancy) Troutman of Concord, NC; brother, Keith Troutman of Concord, NC; fiance, Dena Carol Wike of Kannapolis, NC; step-grandson, Ian Burgess; as well as Numerous nieces and nephews, and his faithful companion Noah, his rescued dog.
