Gearldine Hudson

Gearldine Juanita Hudson, 64, of Kannapolis, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center, NE. The family will receive friends Monday, December 19, 2011 from 6 until 8 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord. At other times, the family will meet at her home. The funeral service will be Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 2 PM at Bright Light Baptist Church with a 30 minute state with the Rev. Ronnie Simpson officiating. Burial will follow at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens. Born December 27, 1946, to the late James Tinslow Kindley and the late Bonnie Beatrice Isenhour, she was preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Hodge. Mrs. Hudson is survived by her husband of 48 years, James Hudson; sons, James Hudson, Jr. and wife April of Concord, and Marvin Hudson and wife Lisa of China Grove; daughters, Penny Yarborough and husband Joey of Concord, and Kathy Bright of Kannapolis; brother, Larry Kindley of Harrisburg; sisters, Nancy Hudson of Concord, Margie Hudson of Landis, Frances Kindley of Concord, Sue Kindley of Delaware, and Vicky Berry of Enochville, NC; 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Bright Light Baptist Church, 960 Old Charlotte Road, Concord, NC 28027. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Hudson family.
