Gene Eudy

Gene B. Eudy, 86 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Stanly Regional Medical Center.

Gene was born November 22, 1928 in Stanly County, North Carolina, to the late Daniel Henry "D.H." Eudy and the late Lee Zora Shue Eudy. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Sherman D. Eudy; and sisters, Rosa Irene Eudy and Mary Frances Eudy.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., on Friday, January 30, 2015, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow on January 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel. The service will be officiated by Rev. Robert Cauble and Rev. Marlyn Wooten. Burial will follow at the Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery at 24696 NC 73 Hwy, Albemarle.

Gene was a retired truck driver for C & A in Albemarle and a member of Friendship United Methodist Church in Albemarle.

Survivors include his companion, Velma Lee.
