Gene Love

Mr. Gene Melvin Love, 70, of 9606 Seymour Lane, Davidson, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Tucker Hospice House in Concord. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Thursday from 6-8 pm. Funeral service will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home Concord in the chapel on Friday at 11:00 am. officiated by Rev. Steve Byrum. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. Born December 11, 1939 in Stanly County. He is survived by daughters, Patricia Cannon and husband Brad of Concord, Cathy Love Fitzgerald of Hendersonville, Jane Ellen Love of Albemarle, son, Michael Love of the home, brothers, Martin Love of Stanfield, Lee Love of Stanfield, Earl Love of Locust, Lloyd Love of Mt. Pleasant, sisters, Louise Baxley of Jackson FL, Betty Reeder of Rockwell, Emma Crisco of Concord, and five grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Deborah Liles Stamey Love, father, Dewey Love, and mother Addey Kiser Love. Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord is serving the Love family.
