Geneva Lambert

Geneva Jean Lambert, 76, of Concord, passed away on September 14, 2021 at Atrium Health in Concord, NC.

She was born on April 20, 1945 to the late Joseph Paul and Geneva (Morris) Holloman in Concord, NC. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Floyd Lee Lambert.

Geneva was a ray of sunshine to anyone who she came in contact with. She was known for her special love for children and was lovingly called Mama Jean by many children of the church and the community.  In her spare time she would be found at a local yard sale scouting new collectibles to pick up.  Geneva was devoted to her church, her faith in God and she thoroughly enjoyed singing in the church choir.  Geneva will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

Geneva is survived by two sons, Nicky Lee Lambert( Nettie) and Bill Lambert both of Concord NC; two sisters, Judy Furr (Billy), Jo Dowd (Jimmy) Of Kannaoplis; seven grandkids; 16 great grandkids; and two great great grandkids

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Friday, September 17, 2021 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg, 12115 University City Blvd., Harrisburg, NC. The funeral service officiated by Rev. Roger Bostic will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 18, 2021 at the Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg, NC.

Burial will follow at the West Concord Cemetery, 331 Union Cemetery Rd SW, Concord.
