Geneva Taylor

Geneva Lena Autry Taylor, 87, of Concord, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013 at CMC-NorthEast in Concord. Geneva Taylor was born July 27, 1925 in Union County to the late Jessie Autry and Alma Kelly Autry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by siblings, Ollie Threatt, Buelah Munn, Roland Autry, Lindsay Autry, Gertrude Curtis, and Alvin Autry. The family will receive friends at Pitts Baptist Church140 Pitts School Road Concord on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from 12 until 2 pm. Funeral services will follow at 2 pm , with Rev. Scott Davis and Rev. Kevin Seager to officiate . Burial will follow in the church cemetery . She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Carrol Taylor of the home; brother, Lewis Autry; sisters, Bernice Dennis, and Marian Preslar; and numerous nieces and nephews.
