Mrs. Genevieve Agnes Cassese, Age 75 of 2776 Golfball Circle Concord, NC passed away on Thursday, October, 1, 2009 at CMC-NorthEast . Born in Bronx, NY on June 29, 1934 to the late Raymond Pettit and the late Mary (Conway) Pettit. Mrs. Cassese was a homemaker, and a member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church in Concord. The family meeting place will be at the home of a son Ray Theiss at 6180 Mountain Vine Avenue Kannapolis, NC 28081. Funeral services will be held at St. Pauls United Methodist Church on Sunday, October 4, 2009 at 3 PM. Mrs. Cassese will lie in state for an hour prior to the service. The Rev. Alan Thompson will offiiciate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Survived by: husband, Donato Cassese of the home; sons, Thomas Theiss; James Theiss of GA; Robert Theiss; and Ray Theiss of Kannapolis; daughters, Katherine Fezza of Concord, and Lisa Sandman of Patchogue, NY; brothers, George Pettit ; Charles Pettit ; William Pettit; and Thomas Pettit all of NY; sisters, Marie Staub; Patricia Marcela; and Alice Wolmart all of NY; eighteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
