George Thomas Baudier, Jr., 56, of Charlotte, NC, joined his Beloved Mother in heaven on Sunday, February 7, 2021.
George was born September 7, 1964 in Flushing, Queens, New York, to George Thomas Baudier, Sr. and the late Elaine Phyllis Klipper Baudier.
Born in Queens, his family relocated to Farmingville, NY, on Long Island in Suffolk County. He is a graduate of Sachem North High School in Lake Ronkonkoma, NY. Eventually, George made Charlotte, NC, his home.
George counted his greatest blessings as his Wife and Daughter. His Daughter being his greatest achievement in life.
He was a kind, funny and caring man, always putting others before himself and helping anyone in any way he could.
Making a career as an independent contractor within the tile industry, he enjoyed working with his hands. A love for carpentry, wood turning, mastering the grill, cooking, curing, canning and preserving foods were only a small portion of the hobbies he continued to educate himself with.
He was a man of very little fear. There was not a sport or recreation he would not try at least once. He treasured the time he spent with his daughter, riding the fastest and tallest roller coasters they could find.
George easily made lifelong friends and enjoyed spending time with them while competing on the golf course, sitting at a poker table, league bowling, corn-hole tournaments, paintball, deck hockey, softball, darts, skiing, watching the Jets or Mets play or just conversing and enjoying their company. He truly was thankful and felt blessed for all of the friendships he made throughout the years.
