George Little

George Little, Age 88, Locust, NC, passed away on January 29, 2010 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle, NC. He was born in Stanly County NC on February 17, 1921, and was a veteran of the US Army and WWII. George Little was preceded in death by his spouse- Mary Louise Goodwin “Jiggs” Little, his mother- Wadie Little, and his father- James Little. He was a truck driver with Lance. There is no formal visitation, but friends my stop by Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland from 5:00 Tuesday until service time on Wednesday to pay their respects. The funeral service will held on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Locust Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Duane Ivey will be officiating. George Little is survived by his daughters- Sue Ainsworth and husband Rick of Charlotte, NC; Lisa Drake and husband Jimmy of Albemarle, NC; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grand-children, and his favorite daughter Ginger.
