George Loflin

George David Loflin, 87 years of age, of Rockwell, NC passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at WG Hefner VA Medical Center. Mr. Loflin was born March 30, 1926 to the late Talmadge Dewhitt Loflin and the late Jenny Walker Loflin . He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Plowman Loflin and his two sons, George Michael Loflin, and Stephen David Loflin. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle on Saturday, April 6, 2013 from 2:30pm until 3:30pm. A graveside service will be held at New London Cemetery, New London, NC at 4:00pm, Saturday, April 6, 2013. The service will be officiated by Rev. Otis Goins. Survivors include daughter, Pamela Faye Austin of Oak Island, NC; grandson, Mark Andrade and wife, Delaina of Concord, NC; brothers, Huey Loflin and Eugene Loflin, both of Shallotte, sisters, Alice Plowman of Richfield, NC, Jewell Sides of Shallotte, NC, and Vonceil Hulin of Denton, NC.
