George Miller

George Irving Miller D.D.S, 95, of Concord, passed away Monday, July 29, 2013 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. Dr. Miller was born April 23, 1918 in Utica to the late Morris and Eva Miller. He proudly served his country in WWII as a Captain in the US Army. He was a compassionate dentist for his emotionally and mentally challenged patients as well as being a noted musician. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord on Friday, August 2, 2013 from 10:00am until 11:00am. The graveside service will be held at Salisbury National VA Cemetery on Friday, August 2, 2013 at 12:00pm . He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Shirley Knopf Miller of Concord and his two daughters, Margery White and husband John of Concord and Emi Miller of Charlotte and their families and a sister, Ellie M. Joffe. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County 5003 Hospice Ln. Kannapolis, NC 28021. Hartsell Funeral Home is serving the Miller family.
