Mr. Pait of Charlotte, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2009 following a 4 year illness. Mr. Pait was a conductor with Seaboard Coastline. He retired from the Railroad in 1984. He was in the Army during the World War II. Mr. Pait is survived by his wife, Patricia K. of Charlotte, his sons George Daniel and wife Dardnell âTinyâ Pait, Thomas Edward and Jeffrey Allan Pait, all of Concord. Grandchildren are Christopher and Daniel Pait of Concord, Mike Pait and wife Melissa of China Grove and one great granddaughter Mattie. Also an adopted son and wife Jim and Brenda Wallace of Charlotte. A special brother-in-law Harley Padgett and special sister-in-law Jewell Padgett of Concord and special sister-in-laws Margaret Kennedy of Lincolnton, NC and Martha Pait of Hamlet. Also many special relatives and friends. Mr. Pait was preceded in death by his first wife Eloise K., his father George H. Pait and mother Ira and numerous brother and sisters. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord, NC with Reverend Steve Pennington officiating. Burial will follow at Charlotte Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Charlotte, NC. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord, NC.
