George Penfield

George William Penfield of 2452 Rock Hill Church Road, Concord died Saturday, September 5 at Concord Place Assisted Living. Mr. Penfield, formerly of Albemarle, was born in Richmond County to the late George Jarvis Penfield and the late Lillie Mae Edwards Penfield. He was the owner and operator of 5 Points Cleaner. He is also preceded in death by his wife Colleen Archer Penfield and daughter Vickie Barfield. He is survived by one daughter Debbie English and husband Ronnie of Concord and his grandchildren Suzanne Long, Season and Jake Barfield, and Adrienne English. A service will be held for Mr. Penfield at Norview Gardens on Saturday, September 12, at 2:00 PM with the visitation following the graveside service.
